Should we make “Parenting” a taboo?
Funny, right? No, not at all!!
From my own experience, when I scroll my Facebook, about
1000 among 1500 kids of my friend list suffer from numerous family problems
which are fully connected to the parenting methods. Since I have been grown up
in an amazing family where my parents have never been a typical “Parent” to me,
it’s a bit tough for me to digest how other children suffer and go through
several mental problems for their family issues. My parents have always been my
best friends with whom I can share everything of my life without any
hesitation!
So, here I am now! Writing about parenting methods
which I experienced in my whole life. Won’t it be good to sharing with others??
Child psychology is considered to be a study of
children’s conscious and subconscious mind (within the age of 1-18), which
particularly focuses on mind and behavioral developments. Today psychologists
recognize that, child psychology is unique and complex, but many differ in
terms of the unique perspective they take when approaching development.
What is Modern Parenting and Its Methods?
A child’s psychology possibly takes places mostly
according to their family treatments as the children mostly spend their time
with their parents or stay in their family. Now days, “A Good Parenting” are
complicated words because of the work Pressure of the parents of this modern
lifestyle. So, this “Parenting” is an important thing to be focused on
particularly”.
The “Modern Parenting” is all about using the family’s
unique cultures, passions, values and ethics, lifestyles and beliefs to guide
the parenting decisions and Treatments that lead to raising good kids and
building a close bond with them or Treating them as a friend at the same time.
Modern Parenting Methods are the knowledge and
treatments given to a kid through their whole childhood and adolescents times. These
are the scientific methods followed by the parents who want to ensure their
children’s better future and they apply it to make them good human beings.
Some Modern Parenting Methods:
Well, we are pretty much confused about the methods of
parenting as because, it mostly depends on the family cultures and beliefs. So,
these methods are for the modern children who are very much connected with the
technologies and fantasies rather than their real lives. If we deeply look into
the parenting ways all over the world, we will definitely find thousands of
loopholes which should be taken care of immediately.
These
are the basic four types of parenting styles:
- Authoritarian
or Disciplinarian.
- Permissive
or Indulgent.
- Uninvolved.
- Authoritative
Now
let’s dig into some good but effective parenting methods: (How
to be a Modern Parent)
1.
Instinctive: a good parent never throws
the negative things on his or her children which that parent might suffered in
their childhood. Parents should work on the points with their previous, basic
and instant instincts to treat their children. this might be natural sometimes.
But learning from helpful areas and gathering knowledge can help the parents
more.
2. Helicopter: Helicopter parenting gives
parents the chance to engage and interact with their little ones as much as
possible. This is considered one of the safest parenting of modern life, yet
the parents will have to be balanced so that their parenting doesn’t turn into
domination; parents should be friendly enough to know and observe their
children. Engaging more can help their child to be a good person and this might
help to gain more and more trust among parents and children. how? A parent will
get to know every single thing about their children and learn where to work on.
3. Attachment: this is a more innovative option to work on. Having a lot of emotional
connections not only help parents to make every complicated work easily done,
but also the children will learn to trust their parents to share even small
things. This kind of sensitive parents can get to know the mental and emotional
state of their children and it can help them to work on properly so that their
kids don’t suffer or go through any mental, physical, societal or major issues.
4.
Narcissistic
Parenting: though
this is considered to be one of the bad parenting method unless this method is
used in a good way and moderated way. Narcissistic parents can help their kids
to be confident, strong both physically and mentally. They can teach their
children how to be successful without taking any pressure, how to fight and
also they put their all the selfish love efforts to support their children
which can make their kids to balance their introversion and extroversion and
they become wiser in taking decisions.
5.
Positive
Parenting: this
method might be the best parenting method ever. Those who follow this method
are likely to be the happiest parents and they teach their children how to
overcome any serious and tough problem so easily. They never teach them to give
up in any situation of life. Also they are very much positive towards their
kids. Their perspectives don’t let them push their kids into anything. These parents
always think and behave positive towards their children. they don’t care about
their children’s result, qualities and other stuffs; rather than they care for
making them independent, good persons and successful in their own way.
6.
Unconditional
Parenting: This
method means the parents will love their kids no matter what the situation may
be. This unconditional love has taken on new forms as couples accept their
child as they are and what they want; This could be travelling on a year abroad
or overspending whilst at university. They will love their kids to just love
and raise them to secure their kid’s future rather than securing their own
future. They don’t want anything in return but their children’s respect and
love.
7.
Spiritual
Parenting:
This has a deep and meaningful philosophy which stretches back hundreds of
years. These teachings, which were extremely modern for its time, demonstrates
a real focus on self-awareness. It connects children with their presents and
they can find the earthly connection. These parents teach kindness, love,
creativity, humanity, love and affection towards nature, every lives,
environment, people, even the whole universe.
8.
Strict
Places Parenting: this
parenting method means, not being strict but handling their kid’s deeds and
faults strictly. They don’t beat them up or say filthy words towards their
children. they teach their children independence, freedom, boundaries, limits
and arbitrariness in a softer and tactical way by giving them real life
lessons.
9.
A
Good Guide: those
who are good guide parents, are very supportive to their children. They are
neither very strict and conservative, nor very open minded or callous. They know
which behavior they should apply on their children in particular time and
situation. they teach their children about love, emotion, manners, values and
ethics, building trust and respect, honesty in a proper way. They aren’t
judgmental and teach their children equalities on sexuality, gender, race, skin
colors, body shapes, social class, appearance and so on.
10.
Survival,
Basic and Balancing Methods: this method means
teaching children about basic common sense, make them being like water who can
survive and manage in any situation, a problem solver, act smart and strong in
every tough situation and balance their own life as a daily routine. These parenting
method is considered to be one of the best parenting method ever.
Oh no!! I haven’t finished yet. There are a lot of
methods and interesting parenting facts are left to tell. And what if I get
back with another part on the topic of “Parenting”??
